My mom was a very generous woman. When she dropped her body, her net worth was not much. She would give away all her jewelry, savings, to us or anyone in need. I was lucky enough to be close to size with her, and luckily I got to keep some of her night gowns and clothes.
This morning when I woke up, I was wearing this night gown which I inherited from her. Every morning when I change into my day clothes, as I take her night gown off, I envision and cherish how soon I will be back in it late evening. It’s like my second skin. I can almost describe it as an amniotic sac. The nights that I wear these precious gifts, I feel like I am back in her womb, safe and sound.
