According to NASA’s website, a radio wave is generated by a transmitter and then detected by a receiver. An antenna allows a radio transmitter to send energy into space and a receiver to pick up energy from space. Transmitters and receivers are typically designed to operate over a limited range of frequencies.
In my attempt to understand relationships, I’ve concluded that relationships also involve transmission of energy between a transmitter and a receiver. I found that in some relationships I am the transmitter of energy and in some I am only the receiver.
In real friendships, these roles change and energy, like a ping pong ball, goes back and forth. The key ingredient for a successful relationship, however, is the frequency or wavelength.
Could the miracle of friendship depend on these 3 elements?
1- Each person has the capacity to be both a receiver and transmitter of energy simultaneously.
2- Each person is willing to be both the receiver and transmitter
3- both parties are on the same frequency range
Now...the wider that frequency range, the longer the relationship lasts, because as we grow or life events happen, our frequencies change. So, the wider the frequency range, there is more wiggle room for friendships to last.
Hmmm....I am sure what I am saying here isn’t a new thought and if I research it further, I can expand on it even more. But for now, I want to thank my new friend who has gifted me a print of her painting above. I feel we have met the 3 elements of a real friendship!
